FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Because I am working to transition my career from corporate America back to my passion of film and video, my prices are reflective of gaining clients to demonstrate my creative and technical skillset.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I engage clients, I always begin with the client's end objective in mind. The end objective is what determines the tone of the final product. If the end objective to prompt viewers to remember thecvideo or inspire emotion, then the music and imagery must be creatively captivating. It should also include dynamic text for recollection. If the objective is for the viewer to take action (donate money, buy a product, or join an organization) then the objective will be instructional. Finally, if the end objective is for entertainment, a well written script should be established and well rehearsed. This is where I thrive.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a 12-year-old boy, my grandmother gifted me her old 8mm film camera. I had all the kids on my block acting in my videos with no sound. I became enamored with film, video, writing, editing and telling stories. I graduated from college with a degree in Telecommunications and Film and since have worked in corporate America. But my passion still lies in film and video. You will see this passion in my work.
