The New Generation crew comes to you with over 13 years of experience in the hardwood flooring industry. Our knowledge and experience in this business is one of a kind. We use a dust containment system which makes our work 98% dustless and we have top of the line commercial grade equipment. I love taking all of those old worn out floors and making them look brand new again! My mother inlaws wood floors were in bad shape! Dog pee had rotted certain spots. Almost 40 years of neglect and heaps of staples made this a very difficult job. Dan and his crew came in and gave us an honest quote and finished the job early!!! Simply getting a wood floor guy to call you back in the metro Detroit area is hard. Dan even came out after the fact to install a transition piece!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge a set price per square footage, for all of our customers! There will be projects that need additional work beyond our normal refinishing process which may add additional charges.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
About 12 years ago my uncle took me to work and taught me the trade. I have continued to work in hardwood flooring ever since!
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We recently came across a Facebook post about an elder woman battling cancer. She had her floors refinished by another company and she was left with badly stained floors and unfinished work. New Generation decided we would go in and fix her floor for free! It felt good to help out in any way we could!
