- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Discounts and fees are unique to the project and is up proposal. My prices are within market rate because I'll be providing value on every job in workmanship and customer experience. I focus on win win project proposals that is fair to all and try to help anyway I can.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is the same for everyone. 1. First, over the phone I may ask a few more questions before setting an appointment for a visit. 2. Then , we will review the details in your home and I'll explain what the solution(s) are. 3. From here we'll decide if we can move forward for me to create an estimate. 4. Next, I will follow up with a verbal budget range for your project. If budget is accepted and you agree to hire me, then I will give you a official estimate price of the project. 5. If agreed with price, we will have a planning meeting and I will receive a down payment before leaving. 6. Estimate ranges from 1-5 days depending how much research is needed and where you are in the que. Note: You will be informed every step of the way of the process
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started as a carpenter apprentice in the local trade unions. I became a journeyman and spent a total of my first 9 years as a carpenter. I worked in both residential and commercial carpentry that broaden my skill level and adaptability. Like other tradesmen, the experiences under the right mentors is always your best teacher. I'm continuing my knowledge and skillsets by staying active on the job, trade associations, resources, publications and industry networking.
