I found Nate the owner of Furnace/AC Direct and and grateful and happy that I did. He responded to me late at night within 45 minutes of me placing the job for my new AC system here. He came out the next day and spent about an hour here looking over the unit and explaining everything to me about the new system and answered my numerous questions and concerns, in honest and professional manner. He sent me his quote later that day and it was much less than my first quote from another contractor that had come by and a couple I had received over the phone. He included two different AC condensers, a 13.4 seer 2 & a 14.3 seer 2, giving me the option to choose the unit that I wanted. He didn't add extra parts that weren't needed and when he was installing the unit, he told me that he did not need the extra electrical whip, that he brought with him. He actually deducted that from his final quote. I chose the 14.3 unit because it was more energy efficient and would include rebates, that the 13.4 unit did not allow. The first contractor gave me his invoice with a bottom line figure but did not show what make or model he was going to use. When I found out it was Goodman and the 13.4 unit, I asked how much more it would be for the 14.3 and he said at least $1,200. Nate installed the same system but with the 14.3 condenser for $200 or less than my other quote with the less efficient model. He ended up saving me around $1,400 and did a phenomenal job installing the unit and he lived up to every review I've read about him & his company. He took the time to walk me through the process, show me the work he was doing & when it was finished he went over the wiring if I wanted to add a smart thermostat, which I am. The new Goodman AC system works flawlessly & you can tell the installation was done perfectly. He is one of 8 Goodman authorized dealers within 20 miles and is by far the best rated & price for installation and equipment. I'm going to recommend him to everyone I know & if anyone is looking for an honest, professional contractor, you won't find a better one than Nate and his company.
