Fundamentals of music theory are taught throughout all lessons. Voice students are taught breathing, tone production, musicality, appropriate style for each genre. Piano students are given proper technique, reading and aural skills.

I just enjoyed my fourth voice lesson with Bev Finch, and I am very pleased with the experience so far. I’m an adult student (54), coming at this as a long-time musician and song leader at my church who recognizes there is room for growth and improvement with my singing - breath control, articulation, pitch placement, tone, etc. Bev started working with me “right where I was,” and I have every confidence she will lead me effectively toward my goals (as long as I put in the work, of course). I look forward to the progress I am sure to make with Bev as a voice teacher.

Beverly is a real professional and offers a wonderful atmosphere for lessons. I’m a musician by trade that needed help with some singing lessons. I had never taken a voice lesson but through her coaching I find myself unlocking parts of my voice that were dormant before. I just enjoy the lesson overall. Money well spent.
