FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Discounts: Ask me about discounts on group Sports Photography packages, group headshots, repeat business and referrals! Photo Delivery Time: For smaller photoshoots, or parties that don't require extensive editing, your photos will typically be delivered within 5 to 7 days. For larger events, group portrait photoshoots, you can usually expect your final photos delivered in 2 to 4 weeks. Pricing & Payments: Every photoshoot or event is unique. Send me a message for a customized quote. I respond to all messages immediately if I'm available, or at most within 24 hours. Sessions under $250: full payment due up front. Sessions $250 and up: 50% down payment due up front to secure your photo session, 25% due day of photoshoot, remaining 25% due prior to receiving final edited photos. All payments are non-refundable. Travel fees may apply outside of Detroit. I'm also in the Tampa Bay area often, so if you need photography in Tampa, St. Pete, Clearwater, or any of the surrounding areas, contact me for availability.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Thanks for considering me for your photo session! First, we'll exchange an email or 2 to discuss your ideas. If you're on board, I'll send you a contract, and you make a payment (see pricing info above). Next, we'll meet 1-on-1 on a zoom call to get to know each other and get more details about the shoot. I might also ask you for a tour of the location. On the day of the shoot, I'll arrive early (depending on how much set-up is required), and then I'll get to work! After the session, I'll hand edit and deliver digital photos as agreed upon.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Like any artform or career, photography is a lifelong process of hands-on learning. From sculpting to painting to music, and finally photography, I've always been an artist at heart, with an eye and a passion for capturing moments. My photography pursuit began 2 decades ago as a young teenager, and recently reignited in 2020 after I left my successful but stressful digital marketing career.
