Alex teaches all sounds of American English in sound-by-sound approach which makes a lot of sense because in order to get a high level you need to get through the evaluation of each American sound. Alex does it in each session and we tried a small sample classes where he put me to read phonetic exercises and he was very carefully highlighting all my mistakes!
