About me: I’m Melinee, but most people just call me Mel and welcome to my little corner of the internet 😊 I am a photographer based in Maryland but travel for projects around the globe. My goal is to show the beauty, grace, strength, and enthusiasm of people. I look for boldness and fortitude in my work and I take great pride in capturing the true spirit and personality of the people and subjects that I photograph. My style has been described as creative, fun, natural, engaging, vibrant, and relaxed. (Yes, I said relaxed…) I understand that not everyone is comfortable in front of the camera, but as your photographer, I take time to engage in conversation, listen with my ears and camera, and pay close attention to the smallest of details. Melinee was amazing! From start to finish, she was so thorough and professional in every little aspect. It was our first photo shoot as a family and with two little kids I was expecting a lot more bumps than we experienced! It went so well and she worked with everyone, my husband and kids so comfortably. Everyone I’ve shared the family photos with has just been amazed at the uniqueness and freshness of them! Mel was one of the best photographers I have ever had the privilege to work with. She took the most beautiful photos of myself and my daughter during my graduation shoot. She truly made my session with her memorable and despite the hang ups we encountered she was still able to capture some amazing photographs. I absolutely loved her work so much I upgraded my package. I am a resident of Louisiana and I came to this app to find a photographer near my daughter, who resides in Pennsylvania. My daughter is having her first baby and I wanted her to take maternity photos. I reached out to 4 photographers and Mel was the third one to respond. After speaking with her, I knew she would be a perfect fit! Mel conducted a zoom meeting, so she could meet my daughter could. After listening to what Mel had to offer and what she was willing to do to accommodate us, we both agreed she was definitely the perfect fit! I was really nervous about being so far away and not being there but Mel guaranteed me that she would not disappoint me…AND SHE DIDNT! If you’re looking for a photographer that’s not just about getting paid but one that cares about the quality of their work and has compassion…MEL IS THE ONE. We can’t thank you enough for a job well done…..we will be contacting you again to take my grandsons photos after he’s born
