Kent from KB Repair was quick, professional, and came the same day to diagnose our washing machine issue. Got it fixed—highly recommend!

Truly worthy of calling again when repairs are needed. Clearly detailing what he was doing and why. Best service tech I have worked with in 30 years.

Kent was thorough and tested the oven multiple times. He realized one of the tests was not done properly and redid it. He could have deceived me and suggested replacing the main board. But he was honest and said everything was in limits. He explained how a gas oven heats up and it could vary as much as 30 degrees. But if something was going bad it would be the heat sensor. He let me decide if I wanted to change it. I had him replace it. I will call on him if I need to have work done on any of my appliances.

Appreciate Kent’s timely work. He took several approaches to diagnose issues and made honest recommendation to replace rather than repair. Would definitely call him again.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Approximately 2 years of on the job training running on average of 6 service calls a day servicing cooking appliances, dishwashers, and laundry appliances.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I retired from a county job after 23 years of service. I needed to start a new career. I read Ken Coleman’s book and took the job assessment. I learned that I had a passion to help others and that repairing appliances would be a great fit. I was immediately hired by a large appliance repair company. I worked there for approximately 2 years learning everything I could in the cook/dish and laundry fields. I loved it. Granted i’m retired, I didn’t sign up for the long days and daily dissatisfied customers due to overbooked calls totally out of my control. I decided to start my own business doing what I love to do and provide excellent customer service.
