- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Once the contract is sent out a deposit is due within 3 days to hold your date. The remainder of the payment is due 3 days before before your wedding. The deposit is non refundable. For customers that need an officiant 24 to 72 hours full payment is due immediately.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once the customer has agreed to a time, I call the customer to discuss discuss details pertaining to their special day. Once a price is agreed upon, I then send out the contract and a copy of the wedding vows.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started as a wedding officiant as part of my notary business because after Covid the courthouses became overwhelmed.
