Matthew did an incredible job with our project. What we thought would be an easy DIY light fixture replacement on a Saturday afternoon quickly needed professional help when we found outdated wiring. Matthew came the next day (Sunday!) to rescue us and was incredibly punctual, efficient, cleaned up (not always a guarantee!), handled the art around the wiring carefully, and was just overall very pleasant to work with. Will definitely be working with him in the future!

We received an proposed quote for his hourly rate and then when he completed the job he added on $50 to account for “thumbtack Fees” I would have used a different provider as the job cost now $100 more than other bids. Quality of work was fine and no issues

Matt helped us fix an existing NEST issue and installed 2 new ones. I am very happy about the results. Our existing NEST thermostat is acting up and sometimes it shows heating, but the water radiator is ice cold. Matt came in and started the diagnosis and proposed a few options to fix the issue (even watched some videos on his own throughout the process) and he did. Then he went ahead to install two new NEST which took some time to figure out since the wiring doesn't seem to be very standard. Matt called the tech support and successfully set both up. I would highly recommend Matt if you have NEST thermostats issues or are considering to install one. Only FYI that I have is that, Matt charged one extra hour for his commute and $20 extra for thumbtack fees. We found it acceptable (also added some tips) due to the work quality but just want to post this an FYI so that you won't be surprised by it.
