I recently hired GHI Fine Painting and Woodworking for cabinetry repairs, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. Nilso was incredibly professional from start to finish. He was punctual, communicated clearly, and made sure to address all my concerns. The craftsmanship was outstanding. He fixed our pull out trash cabinet door that was wrongly installed by the previous owner. Nilso went above and beyond by telling me exactly what was wrong and what he recommend me that would last forever. The cabinets look as good as new, and the repairs blend seamlessly with the existing design. Pricing was fair and competitive, and the quality of the work definitely justifies the cost. I highly recommend GHI for anyone needing cabinetry repairs. I’ll definitely use their services again in the future. Again, thank you so much Nilso!

GHI completely restored our kitchen and bathroom cabinets, installed pendant lights, and repainted woodwork. From the beginning, Nilso was affable and professional, responding to our interests and offering many ideas. He and his crew were reliably on time every day and never missed a day until the project was complete. They were very courteous and trustworthy. Nilso has an eye for detail and is a problem solver, and all work is the highest quality. The cabinet restoration was beyond our expectations, more beautiful and functional than when first installed 30 years ago. It was a pleasure to work with Nilso, and we will be hiring GHI for future jobs.

Nilso and his team did an amazing job on a kitchen cabinet painting and modification project. His workmanship was impeccable and it was clear that he took pride in getting all the small details perfect. Not only did the painting looked like a factory finish, he also extended the height of the cabinets and added a door in a style that was nearly indistinguishable from the original. Finally I was impressed with how the project was managed. Everything was completed within the original timeline, and the site was restored to a pristine state after work was finished.

Highly recommend Nilso and his team!! This team showed up on time, finished the project on time (early actually!), and communicated fantastically throughout the project. The work they did was incredible - picture attached from before and after. I really appreciated the number of coats he applied to the cabinets and the craftsmanship that made the new trash drawer and our new hood above our stove personalized for us. There was hardly any smell and the team cleaned up great, too. Also, we had a 2.5 month year old in the house and he would tell me when to leave the area with the baby because of noise or something like that. It was those professional gestures that made him over the top amazing for us.

I'm a huge fan of Angie's list but because of experiences like this one with Nilso I'm an even bigger Thumbtack fan now.We have a medium sized deck and stairwell in Boston that required stripping and staining. Nilso was very responsive and extremely professional. He reviewed stain types, colors and multiple variations for application. He recognized rotting wood under our deck the day he was starting the job and was able to secure same day finished carpentry assistance who repaired our sagging deck (and another deck)within 2 days. The price was on par with other bids but it's more Nilso's dedication to his client and skill/speed with a job that makes him a superior painting selection. We will never ask anyone but Nilso about our future painting/staining projects. We in fact have another house which requires exterior painting and already asked Nilso to put it on his calendar.
