FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is straightforward and very cost-effective. The base price includes everything you need including help with writing your vows, officiating a standard, Sweet & Simple, wedding ceremony, and filing of the marriage certificate. If you would like a longer ceremony, I offer a Love Story Ceremony. Booking: Your Sweet & Simple booking includes 45 minutes of time. I will arrive 15 minutes prior to ceremony start time, you have up to 15 minutes of ceremony time, and 15 minutes post-ceremony for the signing of your marriage license. If you opt for a Love Story Ceremony, your booking will include 1.25 hours of time. I will arrive 30 minutes prior to ceremony start time, you have up to 30 minutes of ceremony time, and 15 minutes post-ceremony for the signing of your marriage license. If you need me for a rehearsal, that will be an additional fee of $75. Please indicate so at the time of booking. Refunds: In the unforeseen circumstance that I should no longer be available for your ceremony, a full refund will be sent to you within 30 days of cancellation. I understand that life happens, so if you decide to cancel more than 60 days before your ceremony date, you will receive a refund minus the $75 non-refundable deposit. If you decide to cancel your services with me less than 60 days before your ceremony, a refund will no longer be available.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process for working with me starts with a free no obligation consultation where we can chat and learn more about each other. It’s important for you to get to know me as selecting the person who will officiate your wedding is an important decision. If we’re a match, I’ll send you over a form to complete and pay your $75 non-refundable deposit. You’ll fill out a questionnaire and I’ll give you two some homework. We’ll schedule a time to meet again. We will work together to design your dream ceremony and you’ll have full approval of the final script. The balance is due on the day of the wedding before the ceremony begins.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
