- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My primary goal is to help the individual. After your free consultation, I will determine what I think is a fair price per session. Your feedback on the quote is important and if we need to adjust the price, I’m happy to work with my clients to do that.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start the process with a free 30-45 minute consultation. I hear what is going on, what you’d like help in, etc. I’ll share with you a little about myself and my background. If we agree to work together, we plan a time for our first session. During the first session I get to know you a little more, and we do some initial goal setting. Subsequent sessions we check in on goal progress, how you’re doing, new ideas you have, and continue working towards the end goal. The end goal is rarely defined specifically in the early sessions, but everyone has a general direction they would like to move in so we focus on progress.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I suppose it’s always been a passion of mine. From the time I was 10 years old, I’ve wanted to be a coach and to help others reach their potential. I began working with others in high school, volunteering as a coach in a local youth sports program as well as tutoring middle school students. I continued tutoring and working as a volunteer and mentor throughout college. After graduating, I began working in the corporate world and while I had many roles, I always made sure one of those roles included mentoring, training, and developing. I found I felt most fulfilled watching others grow and develop. After a lot of thinking, I decided to pursue life coaching full time to help impact as many lives as possible.
