Please note that in person lessons are only available to those in the greater Boston, MA area. I offer world class training to all who are ready to work on their craft. I mold my lessons to fit what each individual student needs at that point in her development. There is always space to experiment, make lots of mistakes, and try something completely new in my studio! My teaching values revolve around creating and nurturing a healthy, efficient singing technique while inspiring an honest emotional expressiveness in performance. Specializing in classical and musical theater styles, I have helped my students succeed in auditioning for local productions, competitions, and collegiate music programs. My students can be seen on stage singing lead roles in school and community productions. I love watching a student discover his or her voice as the learning process develops. It is so rewarding to help them reach that point when they feel connected to their most honest and easy artistic expression. It's so meaningful to give my students the tools to sing freely and sincerely.

Hannah is AMAZING!!! I have been working with her for over 3 years. She brought me from a guitarist terrified of singing to a confident singer that now impresses my friends and fellow musicians. I couldn’t be happier with my progress and I know I’ve barely scratched the surface of what Hannah can teach! And if that weren’t enough, she is a pleasure to work with. She is fun, unbelievably patient, and very creative in finding novel ways to explain concepts so you understand. She is also a complete professional - in 3.5 years of weekly lessons, I don’t think she ever cancelled our lesson without multiple weeks notice, and that was only once or twice. Hannah is without a doubt an AMAZING vocal teacher. In the few years I have been taking lessons with her, my voice has grown immensely in both musical theatre and classical music! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate is subject to change, but is currently $80/hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If a customer is interested, they should contact me via email. From there I am happy to answer all questions and concerns about starting voice lessons. I am also happy to have a brief Zoom call to see if we would be a good fit. If we are, we schedule our first lesson together!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Music from the University of North Florida and a Master of Music from the Longy School of Music. I also continue to study with a private teacher and coach; one never stops learning in this art form!
