If my lawn were a symphony, Tom would be Beethoven with a mower. The man doesn’t just mow—he sculpts. Each blade of grass stands at perfect military attention, probably saluting him as he walks by. Before Tom, my yard looked like a scene from a nature documentary—specifically the part where a lion stalks prey through unkempt grass. After, Augusta National. He trims, he edges, he conquers. And somehow, he leaves no trace—except for a yard so sharp it could host a royal garden party. If you want your grass to fear you slightly and your HOA to send you love notes, hire Tom. The man’s a green-thumbed legend. 12/10

The lawn looks amazing. I was sent before and after pictures for the work and was extremely satisfied. I also love the app, you can schedule and pause service, speak directly to the contractor, and receive and review photos of the service accomplished. They did a great job mowing the yard, and the edging looked good too. However, they blew lots of clippings and dirt onto my vehicle. I understand that accidents happen, but my car is white, and they left it covered in debris. I'm not just talking about a little dirt, but a lot! They must have seen it. I wish they could have blown the dirt and clippings off the car. If they had done that, I would have been fine with it. Instead, they left it covered, which I didn’t appreciate at all. I get that mistakes happen, but come on.

New yard, original contractor’s minimal landscaping, local guy for basic mowing quit unexpectedly and I was scrambling to find a service that wasn’t a one-man show when, luckily I ran across LawnStarter! A great concept for lawn and landscaping care. It’s like a services broker who vets providers so you are not wasting your time with trial and error decisions. Only committed to the initial 3 mow requirement, but the team who came for the initial mow was fantastic. My sister, right next door, and I were extremely pleased with the quality of the basic services we selected. I know I’ll be using LawnStarter for redoing my beds and adding more landscaping in the future when I am finally fully moved in from my Houston home. Typically our customers like to call in because it is easy and quick, we are able to give an accurate quote just using your address. They can also schedule entirely online at lawnstarter.com. From there, we typically reserve a weekly time or bi-weekly depending on a customers' needs. We also set them up with a customer account so they can manage their service online as they please.
