There are no words to describe the level of having such an unprofessional approach. If you are looking for a therapist who talks more about themselves than your issues, who shares stories about other patients in an insensitive and crass way, is not biased in handling couples, and tells stories to your partner in your absence where the “lesson” or punchline is “Captain Save-a-H$” exclaiming “you cant save them all” then you found her. She was disrespectful to both me and my partner, she called her approach “blunt” or “telling it how it is”, but sadly she is only telling it how she thinks it is without any real connection or comprehension of a situation. For every sentence we said, she said 15. Of the 60 minutes I would say 15-20 if it we actually spoke. She lumps all couples by assumptions that she gathered through brief experiences without taking anytime to really getting to know her clients. As you can see she has had a multitude of clients through thumbtack. The reason is because no one stays. It doesn’t take long to realize she will make her judgement about you through an ignorant history of a handful of interactions and will waste your time with inappropriate stories. I have no question that she has mentioned us to other temporary (because no one stays) clients in an unprofessional way, divulging our personal issues she neglected to even hear to seem funny or “in your face” as she likes to self proclaim herself. A good therapist won’t need a site like thumbtack after awhile and will not have 90 people use her because they will establish lasting clientele. Therefore they would not even be able to take new people. Go to the Bedford group. If you can get in. If you are looking for entertainment or to hear The Marchick Memoirs of all the idiots she’s been better than, get some popcorn and enjoy the show. Ps. I just heard the save a ho story Rose. Unbelievable how you not only disrespected me but also my partner. I am taking back the apology I have for leaving hastily in our last session because you do not deserve it. I think you should stick to being a mom and a wife. Couples would do better off without your “guidance”. Thank you for giving us in 5 sessions “the penny in a pile of doo-doo” as they say, if you are even allowed that much merit. Good luck to you. Ps I was wrong. She has now been hired 195 times on thumbtack. Do you want to be next? Good therapists have a small pool of clients they built trust with. 195 disappointted and broken relationships who she hounded to leave a review for after the first visit is proof of her skills of actually helping anyone. She is essentially a craigslist therapist.
