FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a basic package which starts at a base rate. Depending on additional requests by the client, the rate can increase for services such as live streaming to the customer's choice of social media, drone footage, and extra videographers and/or photographers. The project determines the price. Several factors such as the time spent to capture the footage, edit the footage, and the planning process in its entirety go into the finalized pricing. Typically for a full day of filming, editing the film, and producing the final video project starts at the base rate of $800. Additional services, as previously discussed, change the base rate depending on the service.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I take each new customer's needs into great consideration in an attempt to bring their vision to life. Regardless of the project or media, I work closely with new customers and engage with them to create a plan of action to produce the best version possible of their desired product. Once their desires have been relayed to me, and both myself and the client have a mutual understanding of the the expectations of the finalized product, we meet face to face in a public location and finalize the details through a contract, not only to ensure the desired completion of the product, but to reassure the client of my accountability, as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began pursuing a career in video production after falling in love with the filmmaking process as a high school senior in my Television Production class. From there, I went on to Montgomery College to receive my Associates of Applied Sciences degree in Broadcast Television, followed by my Bachelor of Science degree Film/Video/Theatre from Stevenson University. I have worked several years in public access television and news production/promotion, as well as some photography on the side, before officially starting my own business in 2018.
