I met Derald and DG Visionaries at a bridal expo when I overheard him talking to a bride a few spots ahead of me in line and he said, “I just like to instigate people and get the party going.” Between that and the energy that he was exuding, I instantly knew that he had the right personality to keep a reception going. When my fiancé and I met with Derald to discuss the details of our wedding, Derald was extremely organized and professional, but also very warm and caring; he genuinely wanted to know about us so that he could tailor his work to our specific reception. In a last-ditch effort to try and incorporate many of our loved ones who were unable to attend our wedding, we hired DG Visionaries to also livestream our wedding. Again, Derald was very organized, professional, and prompt in communication to help us put this in action. He livestreamed our full ceremony at the church, and then moved venues to livestream the live Irish band we had at cocktail hour and continued to livestream through the end of the mother-son dance. As the reception went on, that is where the real magic happened! To say that Derald kept people engaged and kept the party going is an understatement. He is, without exaggeration, the number one thing that people talked about at the wedding and the best DJ any of us has ever seen in action. So many guests asked me if we knew Derald outside of wedding planning, and I even asked a few guests if they knew Derald outside of the reception, because Derald is just that guy that will make best friends with anyone and make sure that person has a good time. Derald made sure to play everyone’s favorites and even joined the dance floor to make sure people were having a good time. His charisma was just infectious and made our reception so much better than I could have imagined!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my Bachelors of Arts from Ball State University in 2018. Afterwards I spent two years as a photojournalist at my local news station while DJing weddings and events on the side.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
DG Visionaries is the culmination of everything I love about the power of telecommunications. It’s a physical manifestation resulting from years of trial and error in my attempt to perfect the art of visual and auditory storytelling. After completing my undergrad at Ball State University I noticed a severe lack of businesses in the creative industry that cared about their client's vision just as much as their own vision. Thus, DG Visionaries was born. We believe in utilizing our tools, resources, creativity, and professional experience to help people just like you turn their visions into reality.
What types of customers have you worked with?
No project is too big or too small, and we've worked with dozens of clients across Indiana and beyond on various projects including weddings, concerts, short films, and music videos to name a few. Our team of Visionaries think outside the box in order to turn your visions into reality.
