FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I like to find out what the occasion for booking is. Then we will talk about how many applications and what kind will be needed. After getting booking information, I'll ask for any pictures of looks or ideas the client may have.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self taught MUA. I've attended a professional makeup classes, read books, and mentored by other professional makeup artist with vast backgrounds.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started off playing around doing my friend's makeup for school during lunch. When people started asking me to do their makeup, I started taking pictures for Facebook. Then a fellow photographer friend had seen them and I was asked to assist on set as an MUA. Soon after I had started to think of ways to expand this new love for makeup. Sitting around stumped on a username for instagram, I came up with the name "Extended Beauty". For the simple fact of loving to make you look like an extended vision of yourself, not a different person. The rest is history..
