FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$150 for in person session which are guaranteed 2hrs. Extra time is free $200 per session for 3 dogs and dogs with a bite history $300 to take in your dog for an entire day to work through issues I strive to give as much value per session as I can so you can minimize the amount of sessions necessary to accomplish your goals. I also include written instructions for each client once I've assessed the needs of your dog and the proper protocol for the issues you are experiencing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin with a free phone consultation to get a clearer picture of the behavioral problems they are experiencing as well as more information about their dog. From there we schedule a time for me to come to their home, and once I'm there I observe the dog's behavior as well as how the owner interacts with the dog. Sometimes it requires some troubleshooting on my end, but it's a process of figuring out why the dog is doing what it's doing and what it responds to. For specific behaviors I simulate situations to prompt the dog to engage in the unwanted behavior. I then intervene and show the owner how would approach an interaction with their dog, explain why I'm doing what I'm doing, and then once the owner sees the difference in their dog, I start teaching the owner how to apply the principles and skills necessary to achieving long term results.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
No formal training, just many years of experience working with many different dogs with many different problems.
