Cant say enough about this Company. They came out because my Mother had an inspection and they said she needed a chimney cap on a faux chimney. They came out climbed up about 20’ and took a picture that there indeed was a chimney cap there and didn’t charge my Mother! I would highly recommend you give this company a try.

Wanted to remove a ventless gas fireplace from a condo purchase. Smart chimney team came by quickly for a feee estimate, were reasonable in price, and were accommodating of our schedule to get the works done. No problems removing the fireplace, removing materials, capping the gas line, and cleaning up after. Very efficient team. I would highly recommend for anyone in Chicago looking to remove a gaudy early 2000s retrofit ventless gas fireplace.

I highly recommend Smart Chimney for any brickwork and masonry needs you may have. They were highly professional from the initial quote to the conclusion of the project. They do so much more than chimneys. For me, the replaced a lintel, rebuilt a chimney, did spot tuckpointing, and even repaired several rows of brick that were crumbling.
