Introduction

My name is Valentin I am a floor installer contractor since 1997 . I specialize in installing LVP , laminate and hardwood floors . I immigrated from Romania in 1995 started my family here and I have 4 children. I started working in the floor industry ever since I came here . I worked for over 10 years in the union where I did a lot of floors for schools new buildings , after that I opened my own business and worked with a lot of different companies as well . I have done a lot of residential and commercial jobs through the years . I just joined thumbtack in August 2024 . I like to deliver the best quality in floor installation and therefore I will always tell you the right thing to do . I treat every job like is my own house , I pay attention to every detail and I make sure every customer is 100% satisfied with my work when I leave the job .

I hired Chicago Floors Installation to install LVP in my master bedroom and hallway. Valentin responded to my request immediately. My floor was installed in less than two weeks(could have been sooner if not for me) He is very knowledgeable and communicative. He took the time to explain why certain things could not be done and followed up with great suggestions. You can see the level of experience in his work. I love my new floor… absolutely beautiful. I definitely will contact Valentin for additional floor installation in the near future.

I had a commercial project with a very short timeframe and needed an afterhours or weekend install. There were a few hurdles after we got the old floor up as well which were handled quickly. They were very responsive, did exactly what I needed them to do, had a professional, and polite demeanour. I wasn't sure what to expect going through Thumbtack, but these guys were a great find. I would absolutely recommend them. Price wasn't the lowest but I had the best vibe from them when they quoted it.
