I had a traditional Chicago metal gate that needed some work to be more secure. It was kinda flimsy and didn't latch properly. Rad gave me thoughtful solutions for my issue. I feel like he went above and beyond to secure my home. He is extremely skilled, and I highly recommend that you reach out for any welding needs!

I am very satisfied with the quality of work and his work expertise and skill. See for yourself. I will definitely use Rad’s Welding again.

I provided detailed drawings & instructions of the work needing to be done to my condominium balcony. Rad appeared unexpectedly on site without prior communication & scheduling and so we were not home. They told me he would come Friday June 28. He never came that Friday. He came the Friday morning after the 4th of July when my family was on vacation, so very unexpected. I was very hesitant to allow Rad to work on my balcony if I was not there in person to work on the balcony that I own. Rad assured me he was already on site with all of his equipment ready to go. I made sure to recommunicate the scope of work over the phone one last time and that it was very important to complete the work according to how I had illustrated it. My mistake, I should have asked him to go home and come back when he had properly scheduled with me. Rad has a HARD time speaking English and so it made communication over the phone very, very difficult. I regularly deal with people who do not speak good English and so I know to over communicate details and speak simply so we can understand each other. Nevertheless, communicating was exceptionally hard and I was regularly met with “don’t worry” or “no problem” which weren’t real answers to my concerns. I asked for liability insurance (in person and via chat) as my condominium association requires it. Rad told me the job is too small for liability insurance. I was ignored via text. His assistant also said they do not normally provide liability insurance for “small jobs”. This is highly unprofessional as they were doing work to a structural component of our building, regardless if it was a “small job” relative to his other jobs. They have not provided liability insurance. My mistake in hiring Rads welding. I should have spent a little more money to pay for a business that would do it right in communication & in the scope of work completed. I do not recommend Rads Welding, although the welding he did do is OK and I suppose the finished product is “strong” but it was not completed in its entirety. Rad has not offered to make it right in any way. Unfortunately, our association was looking to do more welding to our other 43 balconies on the building, but we will not be awarding any more business to Rad’s welding and will look for another company that can communicate well and complete the entire scope of work with professionalism.

Rad Welding was very helpful in helping us with our wooden exterior stairs renovation project. Our HOA building is thrilled to have the new stairs! All other bids we received suggested a full replacement, while Rad was very honest and helped us understand how the metal railing could be restored, repainted, and improved while keeping the original design and structural integrity. The quotes were delivered on time and very competitive. Would 100% recommend Rad’s services to others!

I had Rad come out to my in law’s house to install a new railing for the front of their house. All other contracts suggested I replace the current railing and spend thousands of dollars. Rad evaluated my current railing and recommended we use the existing one and just paint it. He saved me so much money. Highly recommend his quality of work
