Having worked with Venue Valet a year prior, I hired this group to provide valetparking services in downtown Chicago on June 24th. We agreed to the terms and I returned the signed contract and a check for the services. Valet attendants were to arrive at 6:30 p.m. for a 7:00 p.m. start.
At 5:56 p.m., Martin called to inform me that he would not be able to provide parking services because there were so many events occurring in Chicago and he had nowhere to park the cars. He stated that the garage, with whom he had a VERBAL agreement, backed out and he would no longer be able to offer the garage. I was absolutely furious. With one hour prior to my event and no alternative options, Martin told me to just contact my guests and tell them I would no longer be providing parking. I told him this was completely unacceptable and demanded that he fix the problem and locate parking. My guests had already been informed that there would be complimentary valet.
Essentially, Martin told me he was sorry but there was nothing he could do. I told him parking is his business and it was his responsibility to know what events were happening and to have secured the garage in writing. Again, he told me there was nothing he could do and left me with HIS problem. I tried calling him back and he refused to answer any more of my calls.
Unfortunately, I lost about 30% of my guests because they were unable to find parking. Not only did Martin not honor the contract, he gave me NO options to resolve the issue he created. Again I must reiterate, I received the call from Martin ONE HOUR before the event. Aside from being unable to honor the commitment I gave to my guests of complimentary parking, I was also thoroughly humiliated.
I would caution any group/individual looking to do business with this company to ensure you take the above into consideration. Under no circumstance would I recommend Venue Valet.

This was our second time using Venue Valet, and unfortunately we were very displeased with service this time around. Our contracted services were to begin at 5:00 p.m., ready to take cars no later than 5:20 p.m. The valet team did not arrive or start taking cars until almost 6:00 p.m., which was a major disappointment to our donors who expected valet service upon arrival. We contacted Martin numerous times and never got an apology or explanation of the lateness, besides that they encountered traffic.
The day after our event, one of our donors contacted us because she had driven all the way home (approx. 1 1/2 hours away) without her key fob for her remotely started car. After several messages and emails, I was informed by Martin that the valet had accidentally forgotten to give her the fob before she drove away. This wouldn't be a huge issue if any of the valet attendants would have simply returned the key to us before leaving and explained what happened. Alternatively, someone could have at least notified us the following morning rather than making us chase them down via email and phone calls. I also had to go to their offices to pick up the key and overnight it myself to ensure that it was taken care of in a timely manner. Venue Valet would not respond to our calls or emails about our contract and customer service issues and have done nothing to correct the poor service. As the icing on the cake, they did not bring the valetparking sign that the contract also stated they would provide. Overall, a very disappointing service from beginning to end. We will not be using them again and would not recommend hiring Venue Valet.
