FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my MFA in Film Production from Full Sail University and my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre Arts from Alabama State University.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My parents filmed my birth. I've had an intimate relationship with the camera ever since. I believe in the intentional, tangible, preservation of memories. Some moments can't be left in the hands of our friable memory banks.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I love it when a client communicates one of two things. 1.) The client(s) know exactly what they want, and have example imagery to show. 2.) The client(s) are unsure of the direction to go in. Whether you are clear on what you want or have no idea where to start, think about whether you are client #1 or client #2. If you are client #1, then you probably have screenshots or a Pinterest board full of thoughts. Be sure to keep budget, time, and location in mind. Ask questions about your reference photos and how we can logistically make your dream photo a reality! If you are client #2, be open, honest, and trust the process. No need to be shy, I encourage you to ask for help. Perhaps you don't have a mood board on standby. Portraits, Weddings, Proposals, Engagements, and Conferences, all have different functions and environments but no matter the event we will still create enticing images! No matter if you are client #1 or #2, I'll be here to preserve your memories.
