My philosophy as piano instructor is that all my piano students learn to play with good technique and artistry. I have more than 20 years experience teaching piano, which has helped me to learn what is better for each student individually, how to develop their own piano studies plan to achieve their piano performance with artistry and confidence, and how to adapt to the individual pace of each student.
I use a combination of piano methods from the new school: Faber, Finger Power, John Thomson, and Suzuki method; from the old school: Hanon, piano studies (etudes) from the classical and romantic period, first lessons in Bach, pieces for beginners and intermediate from Clementi, pieces for children by Schumann, Tchaikovsky, Kavalevsky, Bela Bartok, Prokofiev and others. This is a powerful combination of piano knowledge from the beginning of the piano history. Students realize their improvement in each lesson and can showcase what they learn in recitals that I organize twice a year in a very friendly, fun, and non competitive environment. After each recital we have a social snack time!
I teach beginners and advanced students, from 4 years old to no limit. I always adapt to the peace of each student in order to develop their individual skills. With the method that I have created, all my students start to play small songs with good technique and artistry level within 2 to 3 months.
My studio is located at Saint John Episcopal Church on 3857 N Kostner, Chicago IL, 60641. Call to book a free trial lessons!

The process of teaching my students the art of the piano performance. In every lesson there is something new to teach, something to improve. I also enjoy learning and improving as a piano teacher. Every lesson is an opportunity for me to become a better piano teacher as well.
