Had two areas that need repair by the holiday. I had a cheaper quote (in person) but couldn’t coordinate timing. I chose this professional because he was flexible with time and could start right away. The estimated price was $280 with photos of what needed to be done. When he arrived he looked at the same two areas in the photo and the quote went up to $620 for one area and $200 for the wall. This brings the total to $820. That is much higher than the original and the other in person quote BUT he could do the work on the spot and I would be done with it so I agreed to the pricing. While working on the wall he said it was worse than he thought and he would have to increase the price. It went up to $900 at this point. I said ok. This price differential seems to be common when I use thumbtack. They come to your home and the price goes up. It is what it is. He did a great job. He stayed within the time frame I needed, he patched two other areas in the basement for $100. Below is the before and after of the job. He didn’t paint the patches in the basement. I may use him again as I have more work in the house. All in all I was satisfied.

This was my first time using Thumbtack and I couldn't be happier. Christian responded to my message last night about doing fixing some drywall and he said he could come this morning to look at it. He was here right on time. I thought he was just going to give me an estimate but he was able to do the job today and finish it. He works very fast and is very professional and even cleans up behind himself. He did an excellent job at a really good price. I would definitely recommend him and will be using him again in the future.

Christian did great installing drywall throughout my basement, fixing caulking around windows, installing baseboards and trimming. He had the best quoted price! I just wish I spoke Spanish as we had a few language barrier miscommunications.
