Before I hired Gene, I asked if he was able to repair my Gold's Gym treadmill, gave him model #, what problem I was experiencing and etc. He assured me he would be able to find the parts. I then hired him due to his reassurance. He charged me $90 to come out which I did not mind paying as long as my treadmil was fixed. I also had to pay half for a part that he said was the problem. 1 week later he brought the part back, it did not work, reorder the part, brought it back 2 weeks later, he said it worked, but did not fix the problem, then he said he thinks it is the motor, but I disputed that because although I've purchased my equipment approx 10 years ago, it was like new hardly ever was used. He next said, he thought it was my console board, 4th week, he brought a console board that was not the same model as mine and of course it did not fit. I advised I do not have the money to be spending for him to be playing guessing game. I told him this is why I thought I was calling a professional who would diagnose and repair my equipment. Finally, I advised him, I was fed-up and asked him to return my deposit. He returned my depositfor the part that did not work, but not his service call fee for coming out. I truly feel that he had no intentions of fixing my equipment, that he makes his money collecting service call fees. Rip-Off !!!!
