- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a conprehensive certificate in photography from Waubonsee community college. i have had mentoring and continue to take seminars and workshops to always be improving my craft. I have experience with lightroom and Photoshop.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was never quite satisfied with the portraits I would get from the big companies (Sears, JC Penny portrait studios). I realized that maybe I should try to photo my kids, started going to some seminars, took classes, did some mentoring sessions with other photographers and after a period of time became ready to not only photograph my own kids and family, but to also do this for a living.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with many families I do many newborn and family sessions as well as sports and events. I love to develop a rapport with my clients even before the portrait session, and then feel confident in being able to really capture them through images.
