FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 30 years of experience in photography plus I am working on my degree in fine art to add credibility to my experience. I turned my hobby into my profession, and now that I work for a national photographic company I receive training on a recurring basis. Every chance I get I attend workshops, take online courses and read books on photography. I consume every bit of information that can help me become a better photographer.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always liked photography, but it was just a hobby until 2008. When I was planning to retire from the military I decided I would work in something I love doing rather than punching a time clock doing something that did not make me happy. So when I retired in 2011 I became a full time freelance photographer.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've photographed customers from all walks of life, including high level dignitaries such as ambassadors to Russia and movie stars like Ralph Fiennes, to aging war heroes in their home. I've photographed international balls, weddings in Germany, Norway, Russia and United States. I've worked in all genres of photography and I am confidant that I can make any customer happy with my photography.
