FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Basic websites (1-5 pages plus a blog) start at around $1,300. After an initial conversation about your project, we will put together a proposal specific to your needs. We also offer a-la-carte packages that include logos and branding, email marketing setup and lead capture, SEO, and more. We accept credit cards, PayPal, and can offer existing businesses one year of financing through one of our partners.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing that I do is have a conversation with the client to learn about their business and what their needs and desires are in a website, what design styles they like, and what their typical customer or site user is like. I also like to know their typical process for working with customers. I prefer to do this in person, but that's not always possible. With that information, I research different solutions, come up with a strategy, and put together a detailed proposal. Proposals typically include a design and development package as well as a few optional add-ons that I think would benefit the client. After the down payment is received, we get to work onboarding the project into our workflow, which includes setting up a development site and a project overview, where clients can coordinate with me and keep track of their project's progress. With any initial content available and some dummy content, I put together the first shell of a website and we meet to go through it. This is an important meeting because it allows us to align our vision with expectations and make sure that we are heading down the right path before getting too far along. Having a shell of a website also makes it much easier to envision the final product and produce the rest of the content. Once the overall design and structure is established, we get to work on populating the site with real content and finalizing all of the last minute details. We have one more meeting to identify any last minute changes before going live. After the site is live, there are still a few house cleaning items to take care of under the hood (SEO, redirecting old links, backups, etc.). The final step is to conduct training so that clients can make basic changes on their own. When all is said and done, client's have a fantastic website, a new set of skills, and any additional help is just a phone call away!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The team at Made Right Media comes from a mix of education and experience, including the humanities, marketing, politics, photography, and business operations. But the reality is that our industry changes extremely fast. New products, updates, and trends come and go, which means that learning is a way of life for us and something that we budget for accordingly. In short, we're always learning.
