In a day where you’re lucky to get a contractor to show up at all, working with Dave surpassed all of my expectations. Five stars should be given for someone who shows up as planned and does the work that was promised, but Dave went above and beyond, catching little things along the way and keeping me updated, as I live across the country from the property that he was working on. His prices, for the promptness and quality out of his work, were the best around! If you’re looking for someone to handle a painting project for you, just stop and book Dave instead.

Dave’s work is absolutely exceptional! He is not only punctual but he is perfection at his core. Besides being a wonderful individual, he is truly beyond perfection. Outstanding Service and Quality Work by Southern Traditions Painting! I recently hired Southern Traditions Painting for two painting projects—our bathroom ceiling and the exterior of our home—as well as a concrete stoop repair, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results! Dave, the contractor, was an absolute professional from start to finish. He did an amazing job painting both the bathroom ceiling and the exterior, paying attention to every detail and ensuring a flawless finish. The quality of the work was top-notch, and he left everything clean and tidy when the job was done. In addition to the painting, Dave also repaired our concrete stoop using a form and concrete patch. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Nothing feels quite as bad as feeling that you got ripped off. This applies both to customers and contractors. I like to talk with my customer so that they understand the pricing and that they are getting a reasonable price for the work given.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I like to make sure that everyone understands exactly what it is to be done. Secondly, I like to text or talk to my customer daily so that they are aware of what is going on and what has been accomplished. I find problems arise on a job when there is a lack of communication so, I would rather over communicate, than under communicate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I used to work with Benjamin Moore in central Florida to help develop paints for the company
