I have typed out, and deleted, and re-typed this testimonial over and over again. Attempting to put into words my experience with this dog, is no easy task. Attempting to write down and express my gratitude for what Gianna has accomplished for me, and my dog, is something I struggle to put into words. She not only changed my dogs life, but the quality of the humans life around him.
I was nine months pregnant, overwhelmed, and day by day growing less physically capable of handling our ever growing (100+ LB) Mallinois/German Shepherd pup. I was at my wits end, and had given up on the dream that I would ever have a dog that could be a member of the family, and not a destructive, uncontrollable, menace. When I thought I had nowhere else to turn, Gianna reached out and assured me she could help.
Gianna made sure that she was able to take Boots in for training at the absolute perfect timing. Having him with her through the last weeks of my pregnancy, until we were back home and settled with the baby was exactly what we all needed. In the 4 weeks he was away, she transformed Boots completely. He came home with a fantastic attitude, a solid foundation in obedience, and with all of the tools we needed to continue with his training. With all of his new skills and knowledge, Gianna managed to allow his sweet and personable nature to stay true. Although she transformed an unruly beast into a well trained and respectful dog, she didn’t take away his personality. I train horses for a living and it is all too common to see trainers, “break” the personality from animals, returning them with a machine like mentality. Gianna has the skills and compassion to ensure that did not happen. She not only cares about the training, she cares about the dogs as if they were her own. We not only got updates through every step of his training, but she continues to check in and make sure we are happy and understanding his training now that he’s home.
Since Boots has been home, we have been able to enjoy our dog for the first time in a long time. Being able to safely take him on walks, out around other dogs and people, and even walks with the stroller. We can have guests over without him becoming unglued, peeing all over the floor, and scaring whoever walked into the house. It brings me so much comfort that I finally have the dog that makes me feel safe, and I feel safe handling. The dog I can travel with, the dog I can take everywhere, the dog that will be a part of the family.
I will forever recommend Gianna to every dog owner I meet. She truly changed my life by training our dog. Plain and simple. I cannot imagine not having sent him to Gianna, in fact, I wish I did it sooner. Any dog my family has in the future will be going to her for training, whether it be another working dog, a farm dog, or a family dog. Thank you Gianna, we are forever grateful for you!

Gianna helped my dog Max learn to walk slower and really listen. I put him in her 3 week board and train and he is now much more manageable and overall a happier dog!
