I can’t recommend Chef John enough! John helped make my husband’s and I’s 1st wedding anniversary “brunch” dinner unforgettable. The professionalism and personal touch from John from the moment we spoke on the phone, to the original text inquiring about a private experience, to all the communication in between John was impeccable. We were very specific about the theme we wanted for our “brunch” dinner to be a spin off our original wedding day menu. He went above and beyond to make that happened and listened to all the requests in between. I worked in hospitality for 20 years and he is exactly what you are looking for when wanting to hire a private chef. Thank you for such a memorable experience giving us a chance to make that day happen!

What an amazing experience working with Chef Jon! First, his warm, calm friendly nature is very pleasing. He listened and helped me come up with the perfect menu. Then, there's the food! The guests were raving! And the icing on the cake was the set up. He even matched our event colors. Hands down would definitely recommend and use his services again.

Chef Jonathan made for an incredibly wonderful and memorable 5 year anniversary dinner at home. He was personable and friendly - a really great vibe. Our 9 month old, who typically cries at anyone other than his mom and me, was instantly comfortable with him, too. The food was super yummy, and everything was cooked to perfection. Before the actual dinner, chef Jonathan worked with me to pick the menu and cater to what I wanted (even though I wasn't sure at first and it changed a couple times before the day). I will definitely work with him again the next time I have some special event to cater. Great work, chef!!!

Honestly can’t say enough good things about Chef John. I contacted him regarding my boyfriend’s birthday at a cabin in Blue Ridge. He was responsive, easy to work with, so kind, professional, and his food was delicious. He communicated really well throughout, worked within my budget, and the table went silent the second our food hit the table. We will definitely be using him for our future events! I highly recommend!

Had a small family 4 person bday party for my wife. Chef John and I talked a couple of times to refine a top shelf menu at a very fair price and his entertainment and engagement put things over the top. Food, timeliness, fun, and food were fantastic. Chef John is definitely a good guy and yes, i will call him again.
