Matt from American Welder was very responsive when I reached out to do a custom metal railing for our entry door. We traded texts and notes to give him a good sense of the project before coming out for a formal quote. He gave me a general idea on pricing also before coming out. Once he did a site visit, he gave me a formal quote that was within less than 10% of his estimate (and actually lower than the estimate). Matt was up front with his process. Weather and some scheduling issues (on my part) turned the job from 1 day to 2 days, but Matt communicated clearly and showed up when he said he would. The work was completed and the project met expectations. He is even coming back next week to check for any issues or areas that need additional paint (as it was getting dark when they finished). I recommend American Welder.

Matt made and installed new rails along our front steps and we couldn’t be happier. He knew exactly what he was doing and did the job right. He is obviously a perfectionist. The rails look beautiful!

Our wrought iron glider had two rusted parts that prevented it from gliding. Matt showed up on time, carried the heavy glider down from our 2-story deck to our driveway, welded new parts to replace the rusted ones and even painted them — all in a little over two hours. If you need quality welding, call Matt!

We quote, then when quote is approved 50% is upfront before work is started to cover all Material costs.
