As a homeowner and real estate investor for the past 6 years spanning 8 investment properties, Dan has been the handyman experience I’ve had to date. 2 words… hire him From the moment he came into the house, he was very willing to share his thought process with me, and was very professional. In the end, he found the source of the leak was the toilet, he fixed the toilet, then tested that there was no leak, and in the same day patched the holes to the ceiling, including adding texture to it. I guarantee, there is no better high quality, nor value that others can provide.

Dan is the best handyman that we could have found. My husband and I purchased a home and did a complete remodel. We hired a contractor and they failed to complete the job. I found Dan and he is amazing. He does great work and is a very nice young man. I plan to use him for all of our future projects.

I contacted Dan on Sunday, December 15, 2024, and Dan responded very quickly to accept my project. I hired him right away to replace one of my master bathroom undermounted sinks that was broken with the new sink I purchased. We set up for Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 9:00am. Day of, I didn't hear from him at 9 am on the dot, so I reached out asking about his ETA, no response. But he arrived shortly after at almost 9:30am. He came in and got right to work, and he finished in under an hour, which was great. He said he sealed everything and checked it for leaks, so I paid him, and he was gone. A few hours after he left, I went in to clean the debris in the bathroom up and dump the broken sink in the trash and found that the stopper was leaning. It's a push stopper, so I pushed it in. It clicked in, and I filled the sink to check for leaks. No leaks, but when I pushed the stopper again, it fell off. I cringed because the stopper was not what was broken, but it now is. Not wanting to jump to conclusions, I called him, and he said send him pics, and he will come back by to check it out. Instead, he messages me back that he never touched the stopper, and we could just super glue it back on. I was literally planning to leave him a great review before seeing he broke the stopper from over screwing it with the swap of everything, then clearly placed it there to look good, checked that it still functions and then tells me to glue it on. When I asked him to please make this right, he never responded again. Yes, Dan replaced my sink for a price that worked for me, but he broke the stopper and left me with that issue now. I would not recommend or hire Dan again. Sadly, I really thought I had found a good handyman, but people can be very shady.

Dan's Restoration's reply
I just saw your review. I mean I was gonna come back and see what I could do to your stopper just because. But I didn't break your stopper. Your thinking I over tightened it which doesn't quite make sense. I didn't have to tighten or loosen the stopper to put the drain in the stopper. Do you see what I am saying? I didn't have to tighten it or loosen it at all. You see how your holding the stopper in the picture and the drain is attached to the sink? Well I left it attached to the sink and tightened up the undermount on the sink to hold the drain in. The stopper was attached when I arrived. I didn't have to screw it on or off.... I was working until 7 pm in Smyrna I'm not going to come out at 8 pm to mess with something I didn't break. I was going to fix it for you but I don't see why I would considering I know for a fact it wasn't broken when I left. Maybe it was on its last leg but I did not break it.

It was great working with Dan! Our shower pan in our upstairs shower failed and the restoration company that they recommended wanted to charge us $10,000 to fix it. I found Dan and he was extremely knowledgeable and explained to me what the issues he believed needed to be fixed. He fixed it for around $900. It was such a weight off of our shoulders to have someone who did quality work and obviously knew what they were doing without charging an arm and a leg.

He’s a quick worker, cares about the quality of his work and his prices are reasonable. I will be using Dan moving forward with my projects.
