Introduction

It is an honor to be invited to officiate a couples wedding. I love to make it personal, short and sweet. My focus is the couple and their guests and creating a special moment so that the celebration can continue. I’ve officiated dozens and dozens of weddings and it never gets old. I’d love to do my small part in making your day special and memorable. My family and I moved to Winter Park area due to accepting a position at Rollins College as Dean of Religious and Spiritual life.

Harold was an awesome officiant! Throughout the planning process, he sent over his script and since we were doing a vow renewal I was able to tweak it and add what I wanted. He adapted to my script and his delivery and demeanor was on point! My husband was very impressed with him saying wow, the officiant was amazing and I couldn’t agree more! I would recommend Dr. Harold to anyone needing an officiant for their wedding whether that is for a traditional wedding, vow renewal or anything really!

The ceremony went beautifully thanks to Dorrell! We were both nervous at first but Dorrell made our experience easy and stress free. He met up with us before to go over everything. I definitely recommend Dorrell for any future weddings. Thank you for being a part of our special day!

I can’t imagine my big day without him. He was so careful and respectful to our needs and vision for our wedding. His presence was so calming and made us feel like we knew him forever. He never overstepped and maintained his professionalism through the whole process!!!

We loved having Pastor Dorrell Briscoe as our wedding officiant. He was and is sweet, funny, and simple. It was a great ceremony. I highly recommend him as he engages the audience very well not just the individuals getting married. Our ceremony was as sweet yet not too long either since it was Sept in sunny fla. He is a very trustworthy, valuable and funny officiant to have at your wedding! I highly respect him as a Pastor!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If travel is involved I do consider that in pricing. I also require a $100 non refundable deposit which goes towards your total cost to book your date.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will meet over video conference or in person to discuss your desires for your special day and I’ll share a bit of how I typically do things and we will go from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am ordained as Pastor and have my Doctorate in Ministry from Duke Divinity. I am also a university professor and chaplain.
