I’m passionate about what I do.
Objects through the lens are more extraordinary than they appear! Let me prove it. Specializing in corporate and editorial portraits, as well as advertisement, commercial, events and industrial photography, I am a storyteller who uses photography to tell your extraordinary story.
At the age of 8, I moved to Spain. As my family was preparing for the trip, I asked a family member if I could have their old camera, as the most natural thing for a traveler would be to have a camera in hand. I wish I could tell you that those images of my arrival to Spain marked the start of a wonderful career, but sadly, that first roll of film stayed in my pant’s pocket all the way through the wash and tumble-dry cycles!
Fast forward to 1981 when I started high school, my neighbor started his home-based black & white dark room where I would spend hours every afternoon in the dark developing film and prints. Beyond high school, I worked as a photographer for a few local newspapers in my home town of Ponce, Puerto Rico as well as for my college newspaper. My career ranged from dark room custom printer for Kodak/Qualex, Quality control for chemicals at Fuji Tru-Color, aerial photographer, college football photographer, as well as a photography studio owner. In July 2000, I was hired as the staff photographer for Siemens-Westinghouse, now known as Siemens-Energy, out of Orlando, Florida where I worked for 21 years as the company grew.
I have traveled much of the world taking pictures of manufacturing sites, nuclear power plants, wind turbine farms, and of course many corporate and editorial portraits of the executives, employees and events. I have also enjoyed the opportunity to provide corporate photography services for PepsiCo, and many local businesses, to include Andrew General Contractors, The Eyes Have It Optical, and Paddleboard Orlando.
In current times, I live in Winter Park, Florida where you can find me with my family, my motorcycle, camping, paddle boarding, and sea kayaking, or paddling any body of water for that matter - all of course with a camera in-hand.
My work meets and exceeds OSHA and EHS safety standards, and align with the values, and brand standards of the companies I serve and have served. I am not afraid to get dirty or crawl into any space, climb any ladder or hang from a helicopter to complete a photo assignment; I actually embrace the challenge and seek the unique angle to tell the story.
I look forward to being of service to you, or perhaps, spending the day paddling together!
