- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Because I am launching a new business, I am currently offering heavily discounted pricing for new customers who are willing to allow me to use pictures of the work in my portfolio and marketing as well as leave me an honest review. I will always offer a 10% discount to first responders, veterans, public educators, and senior citizens.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask for a picture or video showing the scope of the work and further discuss it during a phone call. Then I will visit the location where the work is needed to make sure I can formulate an accurate estimate. If the customer agrees to the estimate, I will ask for a deposit sufficient to cover the materials needed and the final payment is made only when the customer is satisfied with the finished work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended vocational high school for masonry for part of my sophomore year and my entire junior and senior year. I then completed an apprenticeship with the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftsworkers including training in several crafts.
