Daniel with GS Carpentry did a wonderful job on our stairs. We needed to refinish the stairs during a renovation and Daniel knew exactly what we wanted and made it happen quickly. He and everyone on his team that we interacted with beyond professional and courteous. They made sure we approved of stain colors and paint before applying them to the stairs. Daniel was very communicative and responsive and the staircase is beautiful. Great value for work done. We will use GS Carpentry again in the future for other tasks as Daniel was able to give us a quote to replace a sliding glass door. High recommend!

GS Carpentry; If you value experience, knowledge, flexibility and professionalism you will hire these guys! From start to finish the communication was A+. After initial interview we were confident that we were going to hire them, it was pretty early in the project, and we didn’t feel the need to shop other pros. Daniel was very patient when I was choosing and selecting the two large sliders for our house. Thank goodness he explained a common mistake homeowners make in the measurements! The width of our door jam combined with what we wanted was daunting when shopping. For me, I thought that was the hardest part. The doors took over 3 months to arrive and we were able to get on his schedule shortly after. We understand that pros are super busy so we were willing to wait. As the installation date approached I grew more concerned with rotating our three large dogs the day of. When Daniel arrived he was punctual and we had already reviewed our checklist weekend prior. They were SUPER EASY to work with. The dogs didn’t even know they were here until late afternoon. Our unique house needed some adjustments that Daniel promptly communicated to me during the whole installation process, which was so appreciated! We had him also replace a few wood slats in our wood floor that was termite damaged. We are planning on them returning to repair a built in bookshelf as well. These guys know what they are doing and cannot recommend them enough. They are knowledgeable and experienced and insured. Their expertise in my opinion is invaluable so not sure about how his prices compare. You get what you pay for and if you want an insured professional who is as detailed as you are, they are the best. Thank you so much GS Carpentry for making a difficult project run smooth!

I wanted to replace 3 French doors with sliding doors. Lowes quoted me $1k per door; Daniel did it for half that. Daniel cared about the project and wanted to make sure it was done right. His price was reasonable and he made sure we knew the possible issues before he started (our raw openings were a little larger than the sliding door frames). When he finished, he made sure we knew how to complete the insulation and trim (I didn’t get new trim for him to complete—figured I could do that myself). I highly recommend! Thanks, Daniel!
