On the night of April 12th, 26 inches of rainfall within a span of 6 hours in Ft Lauderdale, with 8 inches of water flooding our entire home, it immediately changed our lives. We decided we would need a restoration company to urgently remove water and mitigate mold in our walls. I searched Thumbtack and found Superpro Restoration. Noticing they have excellent reviews, I emailed them at 5am while water was still coming in our home, and prayed for a quick response. When I checked at 8am, Jose, the owner had a cordial response and I called him shortly afterward.
He educated us on the classes of flood and degrees of severity along with the steps of how his company is there for all our needs.
He followed up with frequent calls over the next 2 days until the neighborhood water receded enough for his team to meet us at our home. The electric power was turned off on the whole neighborhood. Jose assessed each room and the overall plan of attack with our landlord. One of the greatest mistakes everyone makes is to delay restoration and water removal until an adjuster gives the ok to begin. WRONG!!! ASAP, the water and drywall removal MUST be the priority on any and every home with water damage of all classes. Our landlord was so impressed with the caliber of expertise with Jose, David and their team at Superpro, he literally hired them on the spot for his 5 other homes and they drove to assess each one and layed out plans to begin restoration as soon as electric power was restored.
Two days later, the drywall of our home was immediately pulled, appliances were assessed and removed, debris was tossed to the curb for bulk removal, and our home was water free and on its way to drying. When the flood adjuster visited 10 days after the storm, his comment said it all, YOU ARE FAR AHEAD OF RESTORATION OF YOUR HOME AND LIFE.

Yoni and his team have been SO helpful from the very first phone call. After contacting several other companies who didn’t seem very straightforward or transparent, and having several companies come look at my pipe leak just to tell me they couldn’t help yet, but still wanted to charge me, I finally got in touch with Quality 1. Yoni called in some favors to get someone over to me right away since he was out of town. After spending an hour inspecting (and also determining there’s no restoration work that could be done right away since my condo had to fix the pipes first), Yoni still had his team install dehumidifiers and purified the air just to help out until the actual leak was fixed. My tenant needed special fumigation due to a chemical allergy, and that posed no problem for Quality 1. Everyone who’s worked on my place so far has been helpful, punctual, honest and straightforward, and are really great about providing plenty of photos and documentation needed for my insurance. They have been nothing short of awesome so far…. They’re in the middle of the project now, so I’ll update once the quality of work can be reviewed.
