FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As a neurodivergent architect in a largely neurotypical, white-male dominated industry, I understand how difficult it can be to break the glass ceiling. Because of this, I offer design fee discounts to disabled, minority, and women owned businesses. Contact me about your qualifying business needs!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
01 COMPLEMENTARY CONSULTATION: 15 min videoconference or call, or we can simply exchange information via chat, email, or text. Whatever works for you! Within 1-2 days I will send you a detailed fee proposal. Once you review , sign, and send the design retainer fee, we get rolling! 01 DESIGN DISCOVERY We kick off the project by understanding your vision, needs, and preferences. This stage involves in depth analysis of your personal style as well as the style of your space. We also have discussions about your sensory needs, functionality requirements, and budget. From here, we create a comprehensive and personal style profile for your project. 02 CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT Our team translates your vision into a conceptual design. This includes preliminary layouts, mood boards, 3D visuals, and material selections. 03 DESIGN FINALIZATION Based on your feedback, we refine our concepts. This stage finalizes the design, including detailed drawings and specifications. 04 PROCUREMENT (IF APPLICABLE) For projects involving procurement services, we order and receive, inspect, and approve all items in the design package. We handle any returns as necessary, and ensure all items arrive on site for timely installation. 05 DEMOLITION & PREPARATION (IF APPLICABLE) For projects involving construction or structural changes, this stage includes oversight of the safe and efficient removal of existing fixtures and finishes, preparing the space for new construction. 06 CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION (IF APPLICABLE) For projects involving construction management services, this stage includes selection of contractors and the oversight of the construction phase of the project. 07 INSTALLATION (IF APPLICABLE) For projects involving installation services, this stage involves the installation of all finishes, fixtures, and furnishings. 08 STYLING (IF APPLICABLE) For projects involving installation services, this final stage stage is perhaps the most important. We arrive on site and personally style your home to prepare for the big reveal. Any photography for our use is usually performed during this stage. 09 THE BIG REVEAL (IF APPLICABLE) You've seen it on HGTV, now its time for a reveal of your very own! We finish our full service projects off with a dramatic home reveal. 10 ENJOY Enjoy your new space!

I'm an architect licensed in the state of Colorado and Florida. I earned my Master of Architecture degree in 2012, and studied both Business and Interior Design in my undergraduate programs. I have over 10 years of experience in commercial interior design and residential architecture and design. As a mother to two small children, I understand the unique needs of families when designing a home. As a neurodivergent designer, I understand the unique relationship neurodivergent people have with their environment, which equips me to design sensory friendly, adaptable spaces for those in need.
