FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing structure while generally being competitive is setup to allow for a volume discount. so the more the linear footage the less the per foot cost. As for fees I generally only collect material cost up front. Unless the job is over an extended period I typically collect labour cost on completion.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always listen to the customers vision of what they are trying to create. After hearing that vision I verbally and if possible visually confirm that vision with pictures and samples or a detailed description. A detailed estimate is provided for the project and if accepted, then the next step is to explain the process that the install will take, from delivery of material to completion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Apart from my apprenticeship and years of working in the trade I would say my background in the logistics industry (DHL Jamaica Logistics Coordinator) and in customer service along with my time as a platoon commander in the military are the ones I would point to as the ones that significantly relate to my work.
