FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically price on a per-project basis. I’ve been set-employed my entire life and have an entrepreneurial spirit. So if you’re a startup or just a company who knows the value of quality content, I love to chat about marketing and I’m open to getting creative with compensation with some businesses.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first time we work together, I like to get on a call to get to know you and what you want out of the project. On the call I can answer any questions you have about my services and we can schedule the shoot. On the day of the shoot, I like to walk through the property before starting the photos to get a feel for the flow of the space, where lighting will be needed, and the best angles for the photos. After the shoot, I edit the photos before delivering them to you within 24-48 hours. I deliver your photos via Dropbox. The Dropbox link I provide contains two folders. A folder titled 'Resized' will contain images sized to the exact dimensions recommended for the MLS. A folder titled 'High Resolution' will contain the images you will use for any print pieces.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self-taught photographer with a technical background. After receiving my first camera I read the entire manual before I ever turned it on. Although I have no formal education in photography, I did volunteer teaching photography and Photoshop three days a week at Winter Park High School. I was awarded the Orange County Public Schools Business Partner in Education award for my work with the students getting nearly 60% of them certified by Adobe in Photoshop CS5.
