Not only is she an amazing chef with truly great-tasting food, jaw-dropping presentation, and professionalism that relaxes the entire group, but she also knows how to THROW A PARTY! She has a staff member to help so she can work on all the important details and truly knows how to put on an event. If you're looking for great food and an impressive time, look no further. We can't wait to hire her again! Even though she's known in the Hudson Valley, NY as "the private chef", we're happy to also have her in Florida when she makes her way down here seasonally. My spouse and I hired Chef Lydia for a gathering at our house. We’ve hired other chefs before for our private events, but Chef Lydia completely outdid all of them. Not only was the food delicious, beautiful, and colorful, but also she was such a warm presence and a joy to be around. A true culinary professional.

Lydia creates food that is not Lydia fresh but also delicious and in an art form! She incorporates colors and patterns in her presentations that are so extraordinary! I love Chef Lydia’s joyful personality and it is obvious she loves to use her cooking skills to bring joy to her client’s table!!!

I recently had the extraordinary experience of hiring Chef Lydia for a family-style dinner at my home, and it was undoubtedly one of the best meals of my life. From the moment Chef Lydia and her assistant arrived, it was clear that we were in for an unforgettable evening.
Chef Lydia crafted a menu that celebrated seasonal ingredients, with each dish served family-style, allowing everyone to share and savor the incredible flavors. The meal began with a beautifully arranged charcuterie board, featuring artisanal cheeses, cured meats, and a variety of accompaniments. Every bite was a delightful introduction to the feast that followed.
The main courses were a true highlight. The homemade pasta, with its perfect balance of flavors, was a standout favorite. The New York Strip was equally impressive, cooked to perfection and seasoned impeccably. Each dish was generously portioned, ensuring there was plenty for everyone to enjoy.
