FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to keep my hourly rate competitive as small business owner with 24 years of experience in the residential remolding industry in my field of interior trim and moldings installation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The potential client picks me as a exact match after viewing my Thumbtack profile for their particular carpentry project. Thumbtack contacts me with a exact match for the carpentry service I provide. I respond to the potential client via Thumbtack. If the potential client responses back to me we speak on the phone about project. I set appointment to meet client in person at their home. I then produce a written estimate with cost of materials and labor.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was fortunate enough to be hired at age 35 by a custom remodeling company on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. I stayed on with the company for 21 years starting in 2002. My many years of working for The House Company Hyannis MA. Cape Cod can be seen on their website. We worked on primarily residential high-end summer homes. After many years of working winters in the northeast at age 56 I moved to Merritt Island FL. and started a small business focusing on interior trim and molding installation.
