FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Professional photography is more expensive than someone with a camera taking photos. It is a learned skill that takes practice and time. With that being said, my quote may be higher than others, but I guarantee you will love your portraits. I have invested the time in my craft to understand lighting, composition, and connection to create images you will love, not just like!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first and foremost thing is for my clients to understand it is not their job to be "photogenic" so to speak. It is my job to create amazing photos. That takes a tremendous amount of stress off of my clients. Secondly, I want you to feel comfortable so usually the first 30 minutes of a session are just to get you relaxed and at ease in front of the camera. That's when I can really work my magic!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been mentored by Sue Bryce in Los Angeles, California. I spent an amazing week with her learning her techniques and refining my skill! She is truly one of the worlds greatest portrait photographers. Her accolades speak for themselves. I am also a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and our local Jacksonville Professional Photographers Guild (JPPG). These two organizations also provide training and feedback from master photographers that challenge me to constantly grow! I am also currently working on obtaining my CPP (Certified Professional Photographer) certification through PPA.
