FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All quoted prices include photography time, editing, and final edited images delivered electronically for unlimited download. Basically, the price quoted is the price you pay…period. The only exception would be if the client requests a venue that has an admission or requires a location fee for professional photography. In that situation, the client would cover those expenses in addition to the quoted price. However, if I suggest/recommend such a location, I would cover my admission and any location fees myself. Of course, this would all be discussed and agreed upon well in advance of the scheduled shoot. I will never “surprise” a client with additional charges after the fact.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new client, I start by asking what it is that they are looking for. What will the images be used for and where will they be displayed. I ask if they have a vision for what the finished product should look like. I take all of that information and begin putting together ideas for locations, wardrobe, time of day to shoot and overall concept. My ultimate goal is to help you realize your vision. If you are not sure on the details, I help walk you though the photography journey to ensure that you end up with beautiful photos that beat your expectations, while creating a fun and safe photoshoot experience.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved photography. I got my first serious camera when I was 14 and just started photographing what ever was in front of me. Many years ago my family go tired of me always having a camera in their face, so I started looking for people who wanted and needed to be photographed. I realized very quickly that I truly enjoyed working with and meeting new people. I also loved the creativity that I was able to put into my shoots. This made me want to learn more and the more I learned the more I love it and even more that I wanted to learn. It has been a fantastic experience and one want to continue to expand on.
