I recently hired this handyman to paint two bedrooms and mount two TVs, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The paint job is flawless—clean lines and even coverage throughout. He speaks no English and uses an app to translate which caused a lot of issues. He also probably should not have tried to install something he didn’t know how to because he damaged my AC system installing a thermostat. Then spent a lot of time trying to fix it when it was working when he walked in the door and still charged his hourly rate for his time. Also spent a lot of time trying to straighten a mirror that he installed incorrectly. And then installed some hooks for me that are loose and walked off with the Allen wrench so I can’t tighten them.

Thank you for your feedback. I'd like to clarify a few points that may have led to some confusion. Regarding the thermostat, the issue stemmed from the fact that you purchased a thermostat with Wi-Fi capabilities, which was not compatible with your existing AC system. This caused the system to display an error and shut down as a protective measure. I suggested resolving this with your property manager, but this option was declined. As for the mirror, I took accurate measurements from both the bottom and top edges, ensuring it was aligned. The variation was less than 1mm, which is a minimal tolerance, and within acceptable standards for installation. Your family members also seemed satisfied with the result. Concerning the hooks, I understand your frustration. The Allen wrench was inadvertently left, and I would be happy to return it or ensure the hooks are properly secured. Lastly, we had agreed on an hourly rate of $50, and I worked for four hours in total. This was communicated and understood prior to starting the job.
